ITDC Is Supporting The Organization Of Komodo Travel Mart 2024 At GMCC, The Golo Mori

To promote tourism growth in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia or InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) is supporting the 5th Komodo Travel Mart in 2024, which will take place from June 6th to 9th at Golo Mori Convention Center (GMCC) in West Manggarai Regency, NTT.

Ari Respati, the CEO of ITDC, said, "Through the organization of Komodo Travel Mart 2024 at GMCC, The Golo Mori, ITDC as the area manager is committed to continuously supporting tourism development efforts in West Manggarai Regency and NTT as a whole. We are optimistic that this event will make The Golo Mori area, especially GMCC, more well-known as one of the leading destinations, and it can become top of mind for tourists and event enthusiasts at the national and international levels."

GMCC, which will be the main venue for the Komodo Travel Mart 2024, has facilities including a Convention Hall that can accommodate 400 people, a VVIP lobby with a capacity of 400 people, a VVIP Lounge with a capacity of 29 people, a VIP Room with a capacity of 12 people, a Media Center that can accommodate 50 people, and an Amphitheater that can accommodate 500 people.

"With complete facilities and connectivity support, GMCC is the right location to be the venue for Meeting Incentive Conference and Exhibition (MICE) activities, and it is also suitable to be offered to sellers attending Komodo Travel Mart 2024, especially considering the significant number of international sellers," he added.

Just so you know, Komodo Travel Mart is a forum that brings together sellers and buyers in the tourism sector, for the Super Priority Tourism Destination (DPSP) Labuan Bajo. Komodo Travel Mart 2024, attended by 121 buyers from various countries, including Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Germany. There are 62 sellers participating in Komodo Travel Mart consisting of local Travel Agents/Tour Operators, dive operators, boat operators, hotels, villas, restaurants in Labuan Bajo, Ende, Maumere, Kupang, Sumba, and Alor, showcasing their products and tour packages.

Komodo Travel Mart 2024 is organized by the Indonesian Tourism Industry Association (ASPPI) together with the Tourism Association Consortium and coordinated with the Labuan Bajo Authority Implementing Agency (BPOL BF).

Ari added, "We see that Komodo Travel Mart, now in its 5th year, is a strategic initiative that can significantly contribute to the development of The Golo Mori, and Labuan Bajo, as one of the Super Priority Tourism Destinations (DPSP) in Indonesia. We hope that this event will be an effective platform to promote the potential of The Golo Mori area in particular, and Labuan Bajo as a whole, including its cultural richness and the uniqueness of its national park."

"We hope that this event can boost the tourism sector and creative economy especially in Labuan Bajo, Flores, and all of NTT. Therefore, it is also expected to increase the number of tourist visits from both domestic and foreign tourists, as well as support local and regional economic growth," Ari concluded.
