The successful Lestari Gathering took place on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Studio 2, Menara Kompas, Palmerah, Jakarta. The event, organized by media under KG Media, namely Kompas.com, KompasTV, Kontan, and National Geographic Indonesia, is part of the Lestari Awards & Summit 2024 series, which will be held in August. Lestari Gathering was attended by 87 participants, consisting of representatives from 47 partner companies of KG Media, and collaborated with the Tanoto Foundation to discuss the importance of collaboration in achieving sustainability at the company level (SDGs). Lestari Gathering captured the participants' attention through various informative and interactive sessions. The event started with a speech by Andy Budiman, CEO of KG Media, followed by an Inspiration Talk by Michael Susanto, Head of Leadership Development & Scholarship at the Tanoto Foundation, with the theme "Collaboration for Sustainability." After that, the participants engaged in a Q&A session with Michael Susanto regarding various sustainability issues. Andy Budiman, CEO of KG Media, stated, "Lestari plays a role as an accelerator of sustainability through collaboration among various stakeholders such as businesses, government, media, communities, and academia. By using artificial intelligence on the Lestari platform, we classify articles based on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) categories, which help understand patterns and areas that require more attention." "This initiative has been globally recognized, winning the gold award at the Digital Media Awards 2024. We continue to amplify and appreciate best sustainability practices through the Lestari Awards & Summit 2024, which we hope to hold in August 2024," added Andy Budiman. Didi Kasim, the Editor in Chief of National Geographic Indonesia, attended the event as the moderator. Next, Dian Gemiano, the Chief Marketing Officer of KG Media, representing Lestari, led a discussion session on the topics of (I) Challenges and practical solutions for sustainability and (II) Real solutions for implementing sustainability in various industries. The event concluded with a networking session that provided an opportunity for participants to interact and build new connections. Michael Susanto, the Head of Leadership Development & Scholarship at Tanoto Foundation, expressed, "We at Tanoto Foundation are delighted and welcome this collaboration because we realize that we cannot move forward alone.
