President Prabowo Inaugurates Basuki Hadimuljono As Head Of IKN Authority

Basuki Hadimuljono has officially taken on the role of Head of the Nusantara Capital Authority (IKN). He was sworn in by President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. His appointment as Head of the IKN Authority is based on Presidential Decree Number 151B of 2024.

The inauguration process began with the reading of the presidential decree regarding his appointment. This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony led by Prabowo. The event concluded with Basuki and Prabowo signing the official document. Prior to this, Basuki served as the Acting Head of the IKN Authority since June 3, 2024.

President Prabowo Subianto also appointed Iffa Rosita as a member of the General Election Commission (KPU) for the term 2022-2027. After her swearing-in, Iffa Rosita went to the signing table, where President Prabowo also signed the document.

The event was attended by several important officials, including Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, KPU RI member Idham Holik, Deputy Chair of MPR Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono, and Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian.

At the same event, the President appointed members of the National Police Commission (Kompolnas). After the appointment, Budi Gunawan, who serves as both Chair and member, went to the signing table, followed by Prabowo, who also signed.
