President Prabowo Subianto will make his first overseas visit for two weeks. He plans to visit several countries from Friday, November 8, 2024, to Sunday, November 24, 2024. Ahmad Muzani, the Secretary-General of the Gerindra Party, mentioned that Prabowo will visit five countries during this trip. Here is the schedule for Prabowo's overseas visits from November 8 to 24, 2024: Prabowo is set to visit China from November 8 to 10, 2024. During this state visit, he will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Qiang, and members of the Communist Party of China in Beijing. He is also scheduled to lay a wreath at the Monument to the People's Heroes in Tiananmen Square, Beijing. After China, Prabowo will head to the United States to meet with President Joe Biden at the White House in Washington, D.C. Their meeting will focus on cooperation and efforts to improve welfare in both countries. From the US, Prabowo, accompanied by Foreign Minister Sugiono and several other ministers, flew to Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, Peru. Prabowo plans to make a state visit to meet with Peru's President, Dina Boluarte. During this meeting, Prabowo and Boluarte will witness the signing of a cooperation agreement on "Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic and Service or Special Passports." Afterward, Prabowo will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit on November 14-15, 2024. The APEC Summit will feature several agendas, including a partial meeting of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ABAC), an informal dialogue among APEC leaders, a retreat for APEC economic leaders, and a gala dinner. At this event, Prabowo plans to give a speech on poverty alleviation and hunger in Indonesia.
