BRI Life Has Snagged 4 Awards From 3 Different Institutions, Showcasing A Strong Performance Throughout 2023

PT. Asuransi BRI Life is once again being recognized for its consistent delivery of high-quality life insurance products and services to its customers. This achievement reflects BRI Life's commitment to focusing on its strategies and maintaining integrity in fulfilling the company's vision and mission. In the first half of 2024, BRI Life received several awards, including the "Life Insurance Market Leaders 2024" title from Media Asuransi during the Insurance Market Leaders Award ceremony in Jakarta on July 30.

This year, the Media Asuransi Research Institute continued its evaluation using nine financial indicators from the company's financial reports as of December 31, 2023. These indicators include premium income, net premium income, claims and benefits paid, claims and benefits expenses, investments, investment returns, equity, assets, and profit/loss after tax. In a separate statement, BRI Life's CEO, Aris Hartanto, expressed gratitude to all customers and partners for trusting BRI Life with their health protection, life insurance, and long-term financial planning.

"We extend our highest appreciation to all our customers, who have significantly contributed to BRI Life's growth, as well as to stakeholders, officials, and everyone at BRI Life who plays an integral role in supporting the company," he stated. Another award received in July 2024 was the "Best Insurance 2024" for the Best Life Insurance in the asset category of over IDR 10 trillion to IDR 25 trillion, presented at the Investortrust Best Insurance Award 2024 event in Jakarta on July 25, 2024. These awards were based on rankings of 132 insurance companies registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and evaluated using financial reports from 2022 and 2023.

BRI Life received prestigious awards for its outstanding financial performance, consistent growth, and effective risk management from 2019-2023. In addition to these accolades, BRI Life was also honored by Infobank at the "Non-Bank Financial Forum 2024" on July 26, 2024. During the "Infobank Insurance Award 2024," BRI Life won two awards: 3rd place for "Excellent" in the Life Insurance Group with Gross Premiums of over Rp. 5 trillion and 2nd place for "Excellent" performance for 10 consecutive years.

These awards demonstrate BRI Life's commitment to business sustainability, with positive financial growth in 2023, including a Year-to-Date Profit of Rp535.2 billion in December 2023, a 55.5% increase compared to 2022. BRI Life's capital ratio remains strong, with a Risk Based Capital (RBC) of 528% as of December 2023, well above the required minimum of 120% set by regulators. Aris highlighted that BRI Life, a subsidiary of Bank BRI (BBRI), a leading financial institution in Indonesia, prioritizes cautious business management principles, particularly in underwriting and investment governance. "These awards motivate BRI Life to continue innovating in providing the long-term protection needed by the community," he concluded.
