The Indonesian business and industry leaders association, Indonesia Business Council (IBC) sees that in supporting the fulfillment of President Prabowo Subianto's Asta Cita vision and mission, a strategic partnership with the private sector is needed. Chairman of the IBC Supervisory Board, Arsjad Rasjid said that assistance in the form of capital participation and financing is needed. In this case, out of 77 national strategic projects (PSN), 33 are expected to receive financing assistance from the private sector. Meanwhile, private sector players also have hopes for the government in realizing these development targets. Arsjad said that a consistent long-term policy is needed that provides certainty in running a business. Because, according to him, legal certainty is important for private sector businesses to be able to run, which then opens the gates for investment in Indonesia. "So we need a long-term and consistent policy thinking, that's the most important thing. Yes, please continue the same as we talked earlier, certainty of law is important, it's very important, those are the two ingredients for people to want to invest," said Arsjad after a meeting with AIIB at The Langham, Jakarta, Tuesday (11/3/2025). He added that the Indonesian government must also continue to uphold the free and active policy, so that Indonesia can maintain good relations with all countries. "So from the side so far, from our non-block until today, we must be consistent," said Arsjad. He said, peace in the Indonesian regional area, namely ASEAN, must be maintained. Meanwhile, IBC is an association of Indonesian business and industry players who strive to strengthen the competitiveness and welfare of the nation through good public policies. This association consists of big Indonesian entrepreneurs and also leaders representing large companies. The names of the richest people in the country are listed as members of IBC, including Anthoni Salim, Franky Oesman Widjaja, and Michael Sampoerna.
