President Prabowo Subianto gave special instructions to the cabinet to ensure the smooth flow of homecoming for Eid 1446 Hijri. One of the policies emphasized is the implementation of Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) which is expected to come into effect on D-7 of Eid or March 24, 2025. Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), said the FWA policy is a direct implementation of President Prabowo's directive. "This is the government's effort, in accordance with the direction and special directive from President Prabowo Subianto, who wants to ensure that people's travel during the holy month of Ramadan, especially Eid, is increasingly safe, comfortable, affordable, and enjoyable," said AHY at Soekarno-Hatta Airport Tangerang Banten, Saturday (1/3/2025) quoted from a report by KompasTV journalists. He explained that his party had also coordinated with the Ministry of PAN-RB regarding the implementation of FWA. "We have coordinated with the Ministry of PAN-RB regarding the implementation of flexible work arrangements or what was previously known as work from anywhere," said AHY. The FWA is a work system arrangement that allows employees to work flexibly. This policy is designed as a strategic step to help reduce congestion during the Lebaran homecoming period. The implementation of the FWA aims to reduce traffic congestion in the days leading up to Eid al-Fitr. This is considered important considering that this year's Lebaran celebration is close to Nyepi Day, which has the potential to increase the volume of homecoming traffic.
