An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 struck the city and regency of Sukabumi, West Java, on Monday at approximately 00:05 WIB. As of now, the local disaster management agency has not reported any damage to buildings resulting from the quake, which was centered offshore. According to data from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the earthquake occurred at a location of 9.54° S, 106.56° E, 283 kilometers southeast of Sukabumi Regency, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
