Celebrating its 8th anniversary, PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk. (IDX:HUMI) is hosting a series of events focused on the theme of Healthy People, Thriving Company. The highlight of the celebration, the HUMI Fun Running and the "5,000 Steps a Day" program, will take place on September 22, 2024. This event combines various activities that promote health, community spirit, and social action, showcasing the company's commitment to its employees and the community. The HUMI Fun Running kicks off at FX Sudirman in Jakarta, attracting hundreds of participants, including employees, business partners, and running enthusiasts. The event is designed to encourage a healthy lifestyle and strengthen bonds among employees and stakeholders. “At Humpuss Maritim, we recognize that our employees' health is the cornerstone of our company's growth and success. With the motto Healthy People, Thriving Company, we are dedicated to creating a work environment that supports the physical and mental well-being of all our staff. We believe that healthy employees bring positive energy and exceptional productivity, which ultimately drives the company forward,” said Tirta Hidayat, the CEO of HUMI, during the opening of the HUMI Fun Running event. “To support this commitment, we are excited to launch the 5,000 Steps a Day program for every employee, a simple yet effective initiative to promote an active lifestyle,” he added. This program not only encourages employees to move more but also instills healthy habits that will yield long-term benefits. With every step they take, we are confident that our employees will become healthier, and in turn, the company will grow stronger and more sustainable. A series of events became even more meaningful with the BERSAMA-BERbagi untuk seSAMA program, aimed at supporting children with disabilities and organized over the past three months. HUMI partnered with local communities to provide valuable assistance and support for the development of these children, fostering a spirit of care and empathy within the company. To strengthen relationships among employees, a Mini Soccer competition was held in a cross-company format, requiring each team to include members from different divisions. This initiative aimed to boost collaboration and engagement across departments, as noted by Okty Saptarini, VP of Corporate Secretary at HUMI. Additionally, there was a Video Challenge, a creative competition encouraging employees to showcase their talents and enthusiasm through fun and inspiring videos. Moreover, a Market Day was organized to support employees with small businesses, giving them a chance to promote and sell their products in the workplace. As part of its corporate social responsibility, a blood donation event was also held in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross, inviting employees to take part in humanitarian efforts. With the motto "Healthy People, Thriving Company," HUMI emphasizes that physical health, social well-being, and togetherness are crucial pillars for achieving corporate sustainability. The company hopes this celebration will further strengthen employee relationships while positively impacting the surrounding community.
