BRI Life Provides Accident Insurance Guarantee To Participants Of The Digiland Run2024

BRI Life insurance is joining in the celebration of the 59th anniversary of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, by becoming the official insurance partner for the "Digiland Run 2024" running event. The event, which took place on Sunday (28/7), is aimed at people who have a passion for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and an interest in running.

"Digiland Run 2024" is one of the activities in the peak series of events celebrating the anniversary of PT Telkom Indonesia, which offers various activities for the community and the public. This third anniversary celebration carries the spirit of #ElevatingYourFuture, through running events, music, seminars, and a small and medium-sized enterprises (UMKM) exhibition.

A total of 10,000 runners competed in this event, divided into several race categories, namely 5K, 10K, and 21K (Half Marathon), where all participants received benefits such as a free mini medical check-up and accident insurance coverage called Protection Sport (Pro Sport) from BRI Life.

Pro Sport is one of the insurance products from BRI Life that provides life protection against the risk of accidents during sports activities, including both regular and extreme sports, in the form of death benefits and hospitalization benefits due to sports activities.

BRI Life Marketing Director Sutadi said, "We provide special protection for the runners through Protection Sport (Pro Sport), with a coverage amount of Rp.25,000,000,-. Our hope is that our runner friends can feel protected and comfortable until they reach the finish line."

"In addition, through Pro Sport, BRI Life also covers runners from unforeseen events during the race, such as emergency outpatient care costs, operation costs, physiotherapy and recovery costs, fracture benefits, and death benefits," he added firmly.

Sutadi mentioned that this move highlights BRI Life's commitment to sustainable development, taking into account environmental and social impacts. This includes backing community development programs that can positively affect both the environment and society. "Looking ahead, BRI Life is definitely open to collaborating with organizers and other parties to promote healthy lifestyles among Indonesians and to raise awareness about the importance of having protection for a sense of security and comfort," Sutadi concluded.
