Baby Happy Diapers Breaks Record With 1,000 Indonesian Babies Changing Diapers Simultaneously

Wednesday, 24 Jul 2024

In order to commemorate National Children's Day, Baby Happy Diapers, a baby diaper brand from WINGS Care, has launched the Anti Rash Movement campaign with the spirit of raising awareness about the importance of preventing diaper rash in babies. As part of this campaign, Baby Happy Diapers set a MURI record of 1,000 Indonesian babies changing diapers simultaneously at SMESCO (23/07). This campaign supports the recommendations of the Indonesian Pediatrician Association (IDAI) which suggest changing diapers every four hours to prevent rashes on the baby's skin.

Diaper rash itself is a common issue experienced by babies in Indonesia. According to IDAI, around 7-35% of babies suffer from diaper rash, with the highest incidence occurring at the age of 9-12 months. Dr. Attila Dewanti, Sp.A(K), a Pediatrician, explains further about the causes of diaper rash and its impact on a child's growth and development.

"Diaper rash is skin inflammation that occurs in the diaper-covered area, caused by changes in pH due to contact with bacteria in the diaper or feces. This condition can worsen if the diaper is left on for too long. Besides causing discomfort to the little one, diaper rash also has the potential to affect the overall growth and development of the baby," Dr. Attila stated.

To prevent diaper rash in babies, Dr. Attila provides some tips that can be done, such as 1) changing the baby's diaper every four hours, 2) cleaning the diaper-affected skin area with warm water and cotton, and 3) using comfortable and quality diapers. Choosing the right diaper can help keep the baby's skin dry and protected from diaper rash.

Seeing parents' concerns about diaper rash in babies, Baby Happy Diapers strengthens its commitment to supporting the optimal growth and development of the little ones. Stella Eidelina, the Marketing Manager of Baby Happy Diapers, stated, "Diaper rash definitely makes the little one fussy and parents worried. To ensure that the precious moments between parents and children remain comfortable, we have launched the Anti Rash Movement campaign."

The simple steps to prevent diaper rash are to change diapers regularly and use Baby Happy Diapers with air through technology, which has a soft diaper surface and is equipped with extra absorbency and can hold up to 500 ml of liquid.

MURI representatives also expressed their appreciation for Baby Happy Diapers' Anti Rash Movement campaign. Andre Purwandono, as a MURI representative, said, "We appreciate the initiative taken by Baby Happy Diapers for the Anti Rash Movement campaign."

In achieving this MURI record, Baby Happy Diapers has successfully involved 1,000 parents and babies in simultaneous diaper changing. Hopefully, this Anti Rash Movement campaign will have a positive impact on the optimal growth and development of children." Coinciding with the National Children's Day 2024, Baby Happy Diapers also provided a playground area at the event so that children could have fun throughout the event to fulfill their right to play. Furthermore, parents and their little ones can consult directly with nutrition experts and doctors. In addition to breaking the record for 1,000 babies changing diapers simultaneously, the event was also enlivened by a special performance by Aviwkila. Baby Happy Diapers' commitment to realizing a diaper rash-free baby is in line with the WINGS Group's philosophy that "The Good Things in Life Should Be Accessible For All." Baby Happy Diapers, as a quality baby diaper, helps to realize this good thing through educational campaigns for the Anti Rash Movement and the excellence of its diaper products.
