After Eid Holiday, Reset Sleep Patterns To Revive Work Rhythm

Wednesday, 09 Apr 2025

Head of the Tangerang City Health Office (Dinkes), Banten, Dini Anggraeni said that resetting sleep patterns by reducing previous screen exposure is one way to revive work rhythm after a vacation.

"People's habits after a vacation are that it is difficult to wake up. Try resetting sleep patterns by reducing screen exposure before going to bed, so you can wake up early to start your activities," said Dini in Tangerang, Sunday (6/4/2025).

In addition, she continued, maintain a healthy lifestyle by getting enough sleep, eating healthy foods, and staying physically active. The reason is that after the Eid holiday, feelings of laziness, loss of enthusiasm, and difficulty focusing often arise.

This phenomenon, she said, is normal because the body and mind need time to adapt to the rhythm of work or normal activities. The first thing that can be done is to carry out a routine gradually.

"Don't immediately do heavy activities, you can start by checking work slowly, tidying up your desk, or making a daily to-do list, so that later it will start to feel light when you start slowly," she said.

Then plan something new and fun because having something to look forward to can help restore your spirits. "Like going to play or meeting friends to clear your mind," he said as quoted by Antara.

Another thing is to practice self-compassion, namely reminding yourself that it takes time to get back to a normal rhythm.

"Don't blame yourself if you feel sad or tired after the holidays. Accept those feelings and give yourself time to adapt again," he said.
