This time, Yummy Choice has teamed up with Japfa Food, a subsidiary of JAPFA Group, to introduce an exciting new culinary innovation called the “Chicken Premium Series.” This special menu is designed to provide a next-level chicken experience with premium flavors while remaining budget-friendly.

As a leader in the ready-to-eat food category, Yummy Choice Indomaret is the first retail brand in Indonesia to use high-quality chicken sourced from Japfa Food's latest innovation, Tori Uma™.

“The collaboration between Yummy Choice Indomaret and Japfa Food has resulted in three special menu items: Chicken Saikoro Kebuli Rice, Japanese Sweet Toridon, and Onigiri Ayam Asap Maranggi. These products are prepared in our central kitchen to ensure consistent flavor,” said Burhan Bahar, Special Project Director of PT Indomarco Prismatama (Indomaret), during the launch event for the Yummy Choice Indomaret x Japfa Food collaboration at Menara Indomaret, Jakarta (March 18, 2025).

These three menu items will soon be available at around 400 Indomaret stores in the Jabodetabek area, with plans for gradual expansion to Indomaret branches across Indonesia. Each menu item boasts a unique flavor profile.

Chicken Saikoro Kebuli Rice features Tori Uma™ saikoro beef cooked with traditional Middle Eastern spices and aromatic curry-flavored kebuli rice. It is served with a white sauce and fresh pickles for an enhanced taste experience.

Japanese Sweet Toridon is a flavorful fried rice dish featuring juicy slices of Tori Uma™ chicken, combined with a special sweet sauce from Japan, delivering an authentic and appetizing taste.

Onigiri with Smoked Maranggi Chicken is a traditional Japanese rice ball filled with smoked chicken, creating a unique blend of smoky, savory, and sweet flavors wrapped in nori (dried seaweed).
