BNI Promotes Nusantara Culture Through Plataran Xtravaganza At Borobudur

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, commonly known as BNI, in collaboration with Plataran Indonesia, has launched a community festival titled 'Plataran Xtravaganza'. This event aims to promote the rich cultural heritage of the archipelago while empowering local communities by embracing the values of national traditions.

Steven Suryana, SEVP of Wealth Management at BNI, emphasized the significance of stakeholder support in fostering the growth of the creative industry ecosystem, as well as advancing culture and tourism in Indonesia.

"As part of our commitment as a state-owned enterprise to support the advancement of culture and tourism in Indonesia, BNI is proud to collaborate on Borobudur Xtravaganza," stated Steven in a written statement on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

Building on the success of a similar event held in 2022 at Bromo, this year's Plataran Xtravaganza will take place over two days, from November 30 to December 1, 2024, at the Plataran Borobudur complex. The event will be hosted at several strategically chosen locations, including The Heritage Convention Center and Enam Langit by Plataran, showcasing the beauty of Borobudur's culture and nature while embodying the core philosophy of Plataran Indonesia, which emphasizes 'Hospitality with Impact'.

The organizers believe that supporting the growth of Indonesia's creative industry can significantly impact the overall national economy. Steven affirmed that BNI will continue to contribute to the advancement of the creative sector in Indonesia, generating positive effects for both society and the broader economy.

During the Plataran Xtravaganza event, BNI will also facilitate cashless transactions by providing BNI EDC payment devices and QRIS, along with special promotions for loyal customers.
