Bank Mandiri and the Tzu Chi Indonesia Foundation have signed a cooperation agreement for the launch of the Mandiri Tzu Chi Card and the Tzu Chi Donation digital service via the Livin’ by Mandiri application in Jakarta on Thursday, November 28, 2024.

The President Director of Bank Mandiri, Darmawan Junaidi, stated that this collaboration embodies the spirit of sharing goodness and contributing to humanitarian efforts integrated with banking technology. "The Mandiri Tzu Chi Card is an innovation that bridges the needs of daily transactions. Every transaction made with this card automatically contributes as a donation to the Tzu Chi Indonesia Foundation," he mentioned in a written statement on Thursday. New customers will immediately provide an initial donation of IDR 300,000, which will be directly allocated to the foundation as an added incentive.

In addition to its social benefits, the Mandiri Tzu Chi Card also offers various advantages, such as earning Livin’points up to three times for transactions at selected merchants, as well as a lifetime waiver of annual fees. "We hope that through the Mandiri Tzu Chi Card, we can provide added value, not only in facilitating financial transactions but also in supporting various social programs organized by the Tzu Chi Indonesia Foundation," Darmawan added.

Furthermore, the Mandiri Tzu Chi Card provides additional access to various services and features within the Livin’ by Mandiri application, including a Virtual Card for accessing card credential information virtually, and transactions using the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) funded by the credit card. "Additionally, the Power Installment feature allows users to convert transactions into installments of up to 36 months, and Power Cash enables instant fund withdrawals with interest rates starting from 0 percent," he further elaborated.
