IKEA Introduces The Latest UTSADD Collection To Create A More Comfortable Home For Animal Lovers

Just like humans, pets like cats and dogs also have needs that must be met in order for them to feel comfortable at home.

To meet the needs of pets at home, IKEA presents UTSADD, developed based on input from veterinarians, pet product experts to ensure relevance in every product. This collection of 17 products is based on research on the daily habits, behaviors, and preferences of cats and dogs at home.

UTSADD was developed considering the needs and desires of cats and dogs, while prioritizing safety. Through the UTSADD collection, IKEA also aims to brighten the lives of pet owners at home by offering products that are easy to clean, durable, and can seamlessly blend into any home.

The UTSADD collection is developed based on the four most common activities that cats and dogs do at home - eating, sleeping, playing, and hiding. The collection is designed to make activities with pets at home more enjoyable.

Colorful food bowls and double-sided non-slip placemats help minimize mess during meal times. The bowls are made of ceramic and the placemats help keep the bowls in place.

The soft blanket and plush bed help provide comfort for pets during sleep time. This product is available in various options, materials, and sizes, as well as waterproof and machine washable.

Toy bones help your pets to fetch, chew, and search for treats. Made of natural rubber and fabric, these toys are carefully designed to be durable and strong, yet gentle on the teeth and gums of animals.

Rattan houses can be a cozy hiding place for cats, and are a stylish addition to any room.

Prioritizing the safety of pets

In developing the UTSADD collection, IKEA has considered the safety of pets from various aspects at all stages of development. "We have created protocols based on research, evaluation of previous pet collections, and input from veterinary partners and pet product experts. IKEA's implemented protocols include periodic chemical, mechanical, and physical safety testing on all UTSADD products," explained Ririn.

Furthermore, all UTSADD products come with labels aimed at providing safety information. For example, stating that owners should always be present when their pets use the product, or the product should be discarded if damaged. "We urge customers to read and understand the safety labels on UTSADD products," Ririn concluded.
