AIA Has Launched Health X, A Health Insurance Product That Allows Policyholders To Adjust Their Premiums Based On Their Healthy Lifestyle Choices

AIA Financial (AIA) has launched its latest health insurance product, AIA Health X. This product is designed to offer optimal health protection at an affordable price, along with the flexibility that allows policyholders to gain additional benefits by maintaining a healthy lifestyle. AIA Health X introduces an innovative concept known as X-Factor, which provides fairness and flexibility for customers who lead healthy lives, enabling them to manage their annual premium increases based on their health choices.

Policyholders who consistently maintain a healthy lifestyle and have no claims history will enjoy lower premium rates compared to those who have utilized their insurance benefits (i.e., those with claims during the coverage period). Furthermore, by participating in the AIA Vitality program, which is integrated with AIA Health X, health-conscious customers can receive premium discounts of up to 25 percent. Kathryn Parapak, Chief Marketing Officer of AIA, stated that AIA Health X reflects the company's commitment to delivering better and more affordable health solutions for the Indonesian community. "In the face of rising medical inflation and dynamic healthcare costs, AIA Health X serves as a catalyst to encourage the public to adopt a protected healthy lifestyle, ensuring they are prepared to tackle future challenges," Kathryn remarked in a press release on Monday, November 18, 2024.

One of the primary advantages of AIA Health X is its highly affordable premium, starting at IDR 650,000 per month or IDR 7 million annually. This positions AIA Health X as a high-quality health protection solution accessible to a broader segment of the population in Indonesia. AIA Health X also provides a substantial benefit limit of up to IDR 17 billion. Policyholders can make cashless claims at 900 partner hospitals of AIA and receive medical care in private rooms (single occupancy). Furthermore, policyholders are not only covered for medical care within Indonesia but also across various countries in Asia.
