Market research firm Ipsos Indonesia has published findings from a survey titled "Experience and Satisfaction of Online Shopping in E-commerce." The survey emphasizes that service quality is essential for marketplaces aiming to capture consumer interest, particularly in anticipation of National Online Shopping Day (Harbolnas) on December 12. The research underscores the effectiveness of e-commerce in achieving high consumer satisfaction levels in online shopping, influenced by factors such as security, convenience, speed, features, and a diverse range of official stores. "It is evident that e-commerce companies are leveraging technology and innovative initiatives to attract consumers. However, what shoppers desire is a platform that delivers a fulfilling online shopping experience," stated Andi Sukma, Executive Director of Ipsos Indonesia, in a press release. The findings reveal that Shopee is perceived as the most satisfying e-commerce platform, offering a well-rounded online shopping experience. Shopee's strength is reflected in data indicating that 62 percent of consumers would recommend it to their friends, followed by Tokopedia (46 percent), TikTok Shop (42 percent), and Lazada (36 percent).
