Thousands Of Telkom Indonesia Employees Have Earned Google Career Certificates

Telkom Indonesia has teamed up with Google to successfully launch the Google Career Certificates program for 2024. Running from June to September, this initiative saw over 3,600 participants, with 2,307 Telkom employees earning their certificates.

The program offers a variety of training specializations, including Data Analytics, Project Management, IT Support, UX Design, Advanced Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce, and IT Automation. Telkom is the first partner to utilize all nine training topics.

M. Subhan Iswahyudi from Telkom CorpU highlighted the significance of this program for talent development at Telkom. He stated, “Google Career Certificates not only enhance technical skills but are also expected to have a direct impact on the business and careers of participants. The knowledge gained will strengthen their contributions to the digital ecosystem, both at Telkom and in the industry as a whole.”

This training program includes expert instruction, personalized mentoring, and industry-recognized certification, all aimed at preparing Indonesian talent to compete on a global stage.

“We’re excited to hear that Telkom will continue this program with over 3,000 participants in the second half of the year. We hope all participants can engage with and complete their training on the Coursera platform successfully. We’re confident they will grow with the new digital skills they acquire,” concluded Putri Alam, Director of Government Affairs & Public Policy at Google Indonesia.
