Wednesday, 16 Apr 2025

Recently, Google hosted the Google Cloud Next Conference 2025 over a three-day period in Las Vegas, United States.

During this event, the smartphone brand Oppo unveiled its Agentic AI Initiative and discussed its strategy to lead in AI experiences through both internal development and collaboration with Google.

According to a report by Gsmarena on Saturday (April 12) local time, Oppo also showcased its AI Search at the conference. This is a system-level AI tool powered by Google Cloud that enables users to efficiently search and retrieve complex multimodal document information using natural language queries.

The brand highlighted its advancements across AI Productivity, AI Imaging, and AI Creativity.

"Oppo's focus has always been on the user, and our goal is clear: to lead innovation in AI experiences and deliver the best possible experience. We are continuously enhancing AI experiences through strategic collaborations with partners like Google Cloud, aiming to provide Agentic AI capabilities to Oppo users," stated Jason Liao, President of the Oppo Research Institute.

Oppo also mentioned that it is exploring the next phase of the Agentic AI experience, concentrating on creating personalized user experiences.

Additionally, Oppo is developing a new user knowledge system that will serve as a centralized repository for user data to address the issue of information fragmentation on mobile devices.

This system will learn from users' activities, interests, data, and memories to deliver a personalized AI experience.

By the end of this year, Oppo aims to have 100 million users utilizing Oppo AI to enhance their daily interactions with their devices, including the recently announced Oppo Find X8 Ultra.
