The year-end discussion at the IndoTelko Forum, titled 'Synergy in the Digital Industry to Realize Aspirations,' emphasized the significance of cross-sector collaboration in accelerating digital transformation in Indonesia. Stakeholders from the government, telecommunications industry, and society concurred that synergy is essential for positioning Indonesia as a key player in the global digital economy, supporting the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045, and fostering an inclusive digital ecosystem. In her opening speech, Minister of Communication and Digital, Meutya Hafid, asserted that the government will prioritize the equitable distribution of digital infrastructure and regulations that facilitate the growth of the digital sector. "Collaboration among the government, industry, and society will determine how effectively Indonesia can harness the potential of the digital economy to drive inclusive and sustainable economic growth," Meutya stated during a media discussion held in South Jakarta on Thursday, December 12, 2024. Doni Ismanto Darwin, the founder of IndoTelko, highlighted the strategic role of the digital economy in achieving President Prabowo Subianto's vision of boosting economic growth by 8 percent over the next five years. "The collaboration between the government, industry, and society is crucial in promoting digital transformation that will empower small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and stimulate investments that positively impact the welfare of the people," Doni added. Dirgayuza Setiawan, Editor of the Book on National Transformation Strategies by Prabowo Subianto, underscored the importance of developing digital talent through education at top global universities. "We can learn from India and China, which have successfully built digital talent through overseas education. Most of their major technology company leaders are graduates of top universities in the United States," he emphasized. Zulfi Hadi, Marketing & Solution Director at Lintasarta, reaffirmed the company's commitment to supporting national digitalization through modern infrastructure such as fiber optics, data centers, GPU cloud services, and cybersecurity.
