Develop Cloud-Based Services Supported By AI Technology: Telkom And Alibaba Cloud Establish Collaboration

To enhance the digital ecosystem, particularly in cloud-based services supported by AI technology in the Indonesian market, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) has established a partnership with Alibaba Cloud.

This strategic collaboration was announced during the Alibaba Cloud Global Partner Summit 2024, held on December 3rd.

The signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) took place separately, conducted by Telkom's Director of Strategic Portfolio, Budi Setyawan Wijaya, and Selina Yuan, President of International Business at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence. This partnership marks a significant step in strengthening the collaboration between Telkom and Alibaba Cloud, reflecting consistent business growth over recent years.

The companies are committed to continuous innovation, developing mutually beneficial business models, and creating new revenue streams.

Through this partnership, Telkom and Alibaba Cloud aim to achieve their business missions and objectives by providing efficient solutions and leveraging a robust technology ecosystem for the Indonesian market. Candra Kusuma Wardhana, VP of Global Strategic Partnership at Telkom, stated during the MoU signing ceremony that this partnership demonstrates their commitment to driving digital transformation in Indonesia.

"By combining our capabilities with Alibaba Cloud, we are confident that we can deliver innovative and effective cloud solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers," he remarked in a recent press release.

In a separate occasion, Budi Setyawan Wijaya expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration.

"We believe that this partnership will significantly enhance Telkom's cloud service capabilities and strengthen the company's position in providing comprehensive digital solutions in Indonesia," he stated.
