Monday, 06 Jan 2025

PT Kereta Api Logistik (KAI Logistik), a subsidiary of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), is committed to supporting the economic growth of businesses in Indonesia. As 2024 comes to a close, KAI Logistik is expanding its KALOG Express service network, focusing on retail goods delivery, by opening three new service points in Central Java: Banjarnegara Kota, Sigaluh, and Randudongkal.

Sasongko Budiyanto, the Central Region Manager of KAI Logistik, stated that the addition of these service points aims to provide broader logistics access to customers in various areas. This move also supports the development of key potentials in Banjarnegara and strengthens the textile industry distribution in Pemalang.

He added that Banjarnegara, with its abundant natural resources and strategic location, has great potential for agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and tourism. The new service points are expected to facilitate the distribution of these key commodities to different regions.

In Pemalang, the textile, weaving, agriculture, and fisheries sectors also show promising prospects. With the new service point in Randudongkal, Pemalang, the company hopes to enhance the distribution network and support local economic growth.

The three new KALOG Express service points are located at:

Service Point Banjarnegara Kota: Jl. Mayjend Soetojo No. 48, Kutabanjarnegara, Kec. Banjarnegara, Kab. Banjarnegara, Central Java.

Service Point Sigaluh: Jl. Sigaluh - Banjarnegara, Dusun Karajan RT 01 RW 01, Desa Singamerta, Kec. Sigaluh, Kab. Banjarnegara, Central Java.

Service Point Randudongkal: Jl. Pemalang - Randudongkal, Karangmoncol RT 04 RW 01, Kec. Randudongkal, Kab. Pemalang, Central Java.

To support local businesses, the opening of this KALOG Service Point comes with a special offer of a 20% discount on shipping for packages weighing at least 50 kg.

"During this promotional period, we are also providing a free pickup service for shipments under 5 km and over 50 kg. This special offer is available until March 31, 2025, and aims to greatly benefit the community and business owners looking to distribute their products or needs," said Sasongko.

With the addition of three new service points, KALOG Express now has a total of 196 service points across various cities and districts in Java, Bali, and Sumatra. This expansion strengthens KAI Logistik's commitment to contributing to the development of the logistics sector in Indonesia and continuing service expansion and innovation in 2025.

In the future, KAI Logistik is dedicated to further expanding the KALOG Express service point network, especially in areas with significant potential that currently lack service points. Through partnerships, the company hopes to promote economic equality, speed up product distribution, and create broader collaboration opportunities in the logistics sector.
