Main motorcycle dealer in Jakarta-Tangerang, PT Wahana Makmur Sejati, is reaffirming its commitment to vocational education through the event ‘Synchronization of Vocational School Work Programs 2025’. This event was attended by 50 vocational schools from Jakarta and Tangerang, aiming to align school education programs with the needs of the business and industrial sectors.

This program synchronization is a strategic step to ensure that students in the Motorcycle Engineering (TSM) program are prepared for the workforce. With support from PT Astra Honda Motor, PT Wahana Makmur Sejati is dedicated to advancing vocational education in Indonesia, in line with the spirit of ‘Synergy for the Nation’.

“We believe that synergy between education and industry will create a competent young generation ready to compete. Through this work program synchronization, we hope to enhance the quality of vocational education and the graduates of vocational schools, especially in the Jakarta-Tangerang area,” said Dwi Supriyatno, Head of Technical at PT Wahana Makmur Sejati.

During this event, various programs and activities were aligned to meet the evolving needs of the job market. The main focus of the discussion was to set priorities for the development of vocational schools, including creating relevant curricula that support students' competencies in the two-wheeled automotive field. This program also aims to strengthen the relationship between vocational schools and AHASS (Astra Honda Authorized Service Station) as a strategic partner.

In addition to aligning programs, this event served as a platform to propose priority programs for vocational schools that meet industry needs. This way, vocational school graduates can be better prepared to enter the workforce and develop the professional attitudes required by the automotive industry.

This synchronization activity is part of the commitment to 'Synergy for the Nation' aimed at strengthening contributions to build a better Indonesia. It involves direct engagement in various fields such as education, health, environment, community economic empowerment, and road safety.

As a tangible outcome of this initiative, several priority program proposals have emerged, including enhanced technical training for vocational school teachers, updating practical equipment to meet industry standards, and organizing competency certification for students. The goal is to ensure that vocational school graduates possess skills that align with job market demands.

This activity highlights PT Wahana Makmur Sejati's commitment to preparing vocational school students for the workforce with top-notch competencies. The collaboration between the education sector and industry is expected to produce professional and skilled workers, especially in the automotive field.

Through initiatives like this, PT Wahana Makmur Sejati, along with PT Astra Honda Motor, aims to make a significant contribution to the development of vocational education in Indonesia, supporting national development through improved and sustainable education.

"This is not just about synchronizing work programs; it also reflects our commitment to continue building the nation and preparing vocational school graduates to be professional and competent in the two-wheeled automotive industry," concluded Dwi.
