To show appreciation to loyal customers, PGI distributed a total of 8,000 grams of gold, worth over 12 billion Rupiah, to 8,000 dedicated clients across six major cities simultaneously. The cities included Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Semarang, Denpasar, and Serang, with each customer receiving 1 gram of gold. This program is part of PGI's strategy to introduce the Gadai Emas product and strengthen relationships with customers. In Jakarta, the gold distribution took place at Gor Serbaguna Antarikshe in East Jakarta. Customers showed great enthusiasm, evident from the long lines inside the venue. One customer, Yuli, mentioned that she arrived as early as 4:00 AM to quickly get her gold. "I came at 4 AM even though the gold distribution starts at 9 AM. It’s okay, I just want to take the gold home quickly. I plan to save it, just in case I need to sell it later. Thank you, Pusat Gadai Indonesia," Yuli said during the event. The process to collect the gold was very simple; customers just needed to go to the collection point with their ID and show the prize QR code through the GAOL application of Pusat Gadai Indonesia. Andrew Susanto, the CEO of Pusat Gadai Indonesia, stated, "Pusat Gadai Indonesia started accepting gold collateral in 2024, and we are giving away 1 gram of gold to our 8,000 loyal customers. We hope to set a MURI record with this large gold giveaway," he told the media on Monday (23/12/2024). Andrew also expressed gratitude for the support from customers over the years. "We are very thankful to our loyal customers. With the launch of the Gadai Emas product, we hope to provide more flexible and beneficial financial solutions. As a gesture of appreciation, we are giving away 8,000 Antam gold coins to our loyal customers as a symbol of trust and long-term partnership,” said Andrew.
