The Indonesian Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, highlighted the importance of price transparency and quality in the healthcare system. This is essential for creating efficient and fair services for the community.

Minister Budi made this statement during the inauguration of RS Hermina PIK 2 in Tangerang, Banten, on Tuesday (December 17).

"Price transparency and quality are crucial to ensure that the public receives optimal healthcare services," said Minister Budi.

According to him, the government is studying the right mechanisms to achieve this goal. He hopes that with strategic steps taken, the community can access quality healthcare at affordable prices.

"We want to ensure that efficiency in the healthcare sector can be improved without compromising service quality," Minister Budi added.

Building efficiency in healthcare services is vital. He believes that efficiency can be achieved through various efforts, such as innovation and collaboration between the public and private sectors.

Minister Budi expects BPJS Kesehatan, one of the healthcare providers in Indonesia, to continue innovating to offer better services. He also hopes that private healthcare providers, like Rumah Sakit Hermina, will maintain their service quality.

The newly inaugurated Rumah Sakit Hermina at PIK 2 is committed to being a leading hospital for maternal and child care, as well as child development. The CEO of PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk., Dr. Hasmoro, stated that the hospital is designed to meet the healthcare needs of the community, especially in Tangerang and its surroundings.

"This hospital provides services for BPJS patients, aiming to offer more benefits to the local community," Dr. Hasmoro said.

RS Hermina is built to international standards and offers various facilities that enhance quality healthcare services. The hospital is managed with high management standards, including medical service standards, care, personnel, finance, and other operational management, all supported by the latest information systems.

"We thank the Minister of Health for the support given during the inauguration of this hospital," said Dr. Hasmoro.
