PT Citra Nusa Insan Cemerlang (CNI) has been operating in Indonesia for over thirty years and is committed to a major business transformation from Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) to Mixed Marketing Concept (MMC). On October 1, 2023, CNI marked a significant change by deciding to move away from its previous MLM model and adopt the more effective MMC, which will officially start on January 1, 2024. MMC is an innovative marketing approach that combines the strengths of both offline and online marketing strategies. As part of this transformation, CNI has also launched a new logo, brand, and identity that are more modern and relevant to current trends. This move enhances CNI's ability to reach a broader market and align with today's digital trends, allowing consumers to purchase CNI products not only in physical stores but also through e-commerce and marketplaces, which were previously restricted for MLM companies. "CNI is always striving to be innovative, creative, and adaptable to the times. With this transformation, we aim to create a fresher and more relevant brand, especially for millennials and Gen Z, who make up a significant part of our market. With the MMC model, we are confident in creating more flexible and profitable business opportunities for CNI-Partners across Indonesia," said Abrian Natan, CEO of CNI Indonesia. As part of the transformation, CNI has introduced the CNI-Store concept, which is a key element of the MMC marketing strategy. The CNI-Store serves not only as a promotional and distribution point for products but also as an information hub for consumers and CNI-Partners. Since its launch on July 2, 2024, CNI Store has opened in 27 cities across Indonesia, with more locations planned for 2025. CNI Store is now present in cities like Aceh, Medan, Padang, Pekanbaru, Pangkal Pinang, Palembang, Jabodetabek, Bandung, Purwokerto, Cirebon, Indramayu, Solo, Semarang, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Bali, NTB, and Makassar. "In addition to a more flexible marketing model, CNI Store offers a zero license fee concept for CNI Partners who want to use the CNI brand in their offline or online stores," added Abrian. CNI is also expanding its market reach with the Go-Digital program, allowing CNI products to be sold through e-stores on various popular marketplaces. This program provides consumers with a more convenient and modern way to purchase CNI products. CNI Partners selling on marketplaces need not worry about competition with CNI Store Official, as prices there are set 5 percent higher to reduce price competition. Moreover, profits from CNI Store Official sales will periodically be shared with CNI Partners who are part of the CNI Online Seller Community. For content creators interested in promoting products, CNI has launched the CNI Affiliate program, offering individuals the chance to become affiliates and promote CNI products on digital platforms, earning a commission for each sale made. Additionally, CNI is introducing new products throughout 2024 to cater to the lifestyle needs of young consumers. These include CNI-Ginseng Coffee Signature, CNI-Nutrimoist Face Sunscreen, and SC88 Liquid Detergent, specifically designed for millennials and Gen Z who are increasingly focused on healthy and practical living.
