POLYTRON And Gojek Team Up To Launch A Special Program For Driver Partners

To encourage Gojek driver partners to switch to electric motorcycles for efficient and eco-friendly mobility, POLYTRON, a leading electric motorcycle manufacturer in Indonesia, has teamed up with Gojek to launch a program called “Ngegojek Lebih Hemat, Kantong Lebih Sehat.” This initiative offers Gojek driver partners a special purchasing program for the POLYTRON FOX-R electric motorcycle, which not only delivers high performance but also provides exclusive benefits to support their transition from gasoline-powered bikes to electric vehicles.

With the growth of two-wheeled vehicles at 5-6% annually and over 120 million units in Indonesia, the transportation sector significantly contributes to carbon emissions, amounting to around 300 million kilograms per day. Meanwhile, the number of Gojek driver partners continues to rise, with GoTo reporting 3.1 million registered partners in 2023.

In this program, Gojek partners can benefit from three main advantages. First, they receive free battery rental for one year to lessen operational costs. Second, there is a discount of Rp 500,000 applicable to all motorcycle color types. Third, they get free replacement of one set of tires and brake pads in the first year, ensuring extra comfort and safety while riding.

POLYTRON aims to help partners achieve maximum efficiency in their daily operations through this program, which runs from December 18, 2024, to December 31, 2025.

Efficient Choice to Boost Daily Productivity

According to operational cost comparison data, the POLYTRON FOX-R electric motor is proven to be up to 80% more economical than conventional gasoline motors. Based on calculations using PLN's kWh rates, charging costs are Rp 5,356 for a distance of 130 kilometers, making the electric motor cost only Rp 41 per kilometer, significantly cheaper than the gasoline motor, which costs Rp 200 per kilometer.

This efficiency not only helps Gojek driver partners save on operational costs but also plays a crucial role in reducing reliance on fossil fuels and carbon emissions. For partners needing quick charging, free fast charging facilities are available at several showrooms and service centers in Jabodetabek, with charging from 20% to 80% taking just 30 minutes.

Maximum Performance for High Mobility

In addition to being efficient, the POLYTRON FOX-R is designed for optimal performance to support Gojek partners' daily activities. Its large matic scooter design offers more comfort for both riders and passengers. Powered by a 3,000-watt motor, this vehicle maintains stability on various terrains, even when carrying heavy loads. With a recommended carrying capacity of up to 150 kilograms, it is perfect for GoRide, GoFood, and GoSend services.
