Thursday, 21 Nov 2024

PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), along with its subsidiary PT Energia Prima Nusantara (EPN), participated in the Electricity Connect 2024 event. At this event, UT and EPN showcased green innovations to support the transition to Renewable Energy (EBT) in Indonesia. The innovations presented included green business solutions, the development of green power plants, and a green hydrogen ecosystem. The event took place in person from November 20 to 22, 2024, at the Jakarta Convention Center.

Iwan Hadiantoro, the Director of UT and President Director of EPN, stated that both companies are committed to driving innovation for a greener and more sustainable future. EPN plays a crucial role in the energy sector for UT, focusing on the development of EBT and expanding clean energy solutions.

"We believe that EBT innovation is a vital step towards a better future. Through our participation in Electricity Connect 2024, UT and EPN aim to demonstrate our strong commitment to supporting the green energy transition in Indonesia," said Iwan Hadiantoro.

During the event, UT introduced EPN as the key player in EBT initiatives in Indonesia. EPN's journey in providing clean energy has involved various projects that promote environmental and economic sustainability. With extensive experience, EPN continues to develop green energy that positively impacts communities and the environment.

Currently, EPN's portfolio includes several renewable energy projects, such as Solar Power Plants (PLTS), Hydro Power Plants, and Geothermal Power Plants. These projects highlight EPN's significant contribution to providing eco-friendly energy sources and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.

UT and EPN will continue to develop solutions that are not only efficient but also sustainable. This aligns with the government's goal to accelerate the transition to clean energy in Indonesia.

"In addition to creating innovations based on our existing portfolio, EPN is also introducing several new initiatives to support the diversification of renewable energy in the future, such as Waste to Energy, Microbial Fuel Cells, and Hydrogen. This new portfolio reflects our efforts to provide a wider range of sustainable renewable energy solutions. We hope these technologies can serve as effective alternatives for the people and industries of Indonesia," said EPN's Vice President Director, Chinthya Theresa.

With these various innovations, UT Group and EPN aim to speed up the transformation to renewable energy and provide suitable solutions for the Indonesian community. UT and EPN's participation in the Electricity Connect 2024 event is a strategic step in supporting Indonesia's green agenda while showcasing advanced technologies that can address future energy needs.
