Umana Bali, Part Of LXR Hotels & Resorts, Hosts A Special Three-day Event To Celebrate Its First Anniversary

Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts is celebrating its first anniversary and grand opening with an exclusive event from November 15 to 17, 2024. Guests can enjoy a culinary adventure, art exhibitions, and various activities over three days, including guided culinary tours by renowned chefs and fashion showcases.

Located in Ungasan, at the southern tip of Bali, Umana Bali (formerly Jumana Bali Ungasan Resort) is a hospitality unit of PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA). It is the first resort in Southeast Asia under the luxury brand LXR Hotels & Resorts, managed by Hilton, a leading hotel brand based in Beverly Hills, California.

Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts features 72 villas spread across 10 hectares, designed with terraced levels on limestone cliffs, providing stunning views of the Indian Ocean. The terraced design is reminiscent of uma, or ancient rice paddies, which inspired its name.

Umana Bali also presents a unique interpretation of the Tri Hita Karana philosophy, which highlights the harmonious relationship between humans, nature, and the divine. It believes that well-being and happiness naturally arise when these three pillars are in balance.

"Not only is it beautiful, but our hotel guests can also easily visit one of the most sacred and revered sites on the island, Pura Uluwatu, which is just a short distance from the resort. Our resort is also conveniently located only 45 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport," said Johannes.

As noted, by the end of the first nine months of 2024, the occupancy rate at Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts reached 47.2%, up from 18.0% in 9M23. Meanwhile, the Average Room Rate (ARR) for 9M24 was Rp9,165K, an increase from Rp7,988K in 9M23.

The overall revenue from the hospitality business unit of SSIA was Rp821.4 billion in 9M24, a 23.3% increase compared to Rp666.4 billion in 9M23. SSIA reported consolidated revenue of Rp3,861.7 billion for 9M24, up 27.9% from Rp3,020.4 billion recorded in 9M23.

In addition to Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts, the company also operates other hotels, including Gran Melia Jakarta, Melia Bali Hotel, and the BATIQA Hotels network in Karawang, Jababeka, Cirebon, Surabaya, Pekanbaru, Palembang, and Lampung.
